Our town is governed by a Mayor and four Council members selected at-large by the registered voters in the Town of Norris. Council Members are elected to staggered four-year terms and are elected under a non-partisan system. Council meets on the second Monday of each month except for July and December.

Town Council continues to focus on meeting the needs of the community. Events like the annual Christmas Parade, little league baseball at the town's newly constructed baseball park, and the recent efforts of Norris leader's to beautify the streets in the town limits, are helping the citizens build a sense of pride in the community and further display the true small-town traditions that make Norris so unique.
